The Adobe lightweight Microarchitecture for rich Internet application (RIA) development
Cairngorm 2 for Flex 2 is a light framework for the development of Rich Internet Applications which originates from the implementation that the architects of Adobe Consulting have inherited from the design patterns taken from enterprise scenarios and environments (J2EE e .NET).
Cairngorm puts, at the disposition of Flex developers, a base level environment which can be completely personalized and extended and can respond to multiple scenarios in complex enterprise environments. The idea which gave life to Cairngorm for Flex was outlined in the book "Reality J2EE - Architecting for Flash MX" published by Macromedia Press in 2002 and it then matured with the introduction of Actionscript 2 and Flash Remoting (in the book ActionScript 2.0 Dictionary edited by Macromedia Press in 2004). An important aspect of Cairngorm 2, is that it determined the diffusion and the knowledge, residing in the fact that the framework is an Open Source.
The architecture of Cairngorm 2 for Flex 2 is applied to the development of applications in the Enterprise environment, an environment in which Comtaste has recently operated for projects in the world of banking and financial transactions.
Comtaste represents excellence for training and consultancy in the development of Rich Internet Applications in the Enterprise environment which use Cairngorm 2 and Flex 2.
